Follow this step-by-step guide to set up and start using Dialpad with Communities CRM, unlocking powerful communication and tracking features.
Visit Dialpad’s website and sign up for an account.
Ensure you select at least the Pro Plan, as it includes API access and advanced features needed for integration.
During sign-up, choose a business phone number for your account.
Log in to your Dialpad account.
Go to Settings and locate your API Key.
If you're unsure where to find it, refer to Dialpad’s API Guide.
Save the API Key somewhere secure for later use.
Log in to your Communities CRM account.
Navigate to Settings > VOIP Integration.
Select Dialpad Integration and enter your API Key in the provided field.
Choose the phone number you want to use with Communities CRM from the dropdown menu.
Once completed, the platform will automatically sync with your Dialpad account.
With the Dialpad integration, you’ll enjoy the following features directly in Communities CRM:
- Call Tracking: Automatically log calls made through Dialpad.
- Call Recordings: Access and review recorded calls for training and compliance.
- Transcriptions: View transcriptions of your calls for easy reference.
- AI-Powered Summaries: Summarize calls and create notes using Communities AI, saving time and improving efficiency.
- Multi-Device Access: Make and receive calls on your desktop
Once integration is complete, you can:
Start making calls via the Dialpad app (desktop or mobile).
See call activity, recordings, and transcriptions synced in your CRM.
Use Communities AI to analyze and summarize calls, helping you stay organized and better serve clients.
